According to Ursula, “Braids are for everyone; I love the unisex feel of this hairstyle. It’s one of those looks that girls AND guys really love wearing. For added definition, make sure to use big sections for each braid and create straight parts for a dramatic look.” Although there were no men in attendance for this collection, we did see women of different ethnicities wearing the look. Step 1: Before beginning your braided style, prep hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner to soften and loosen the curl of natural textured hair. Step 2: To prepare for the blowdrying process, section the hair into 10-11 large sections and hold in place with section clips. Step 3: For protection Apply TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray and blow-dry each section of hair. Step 4: Attach the synthetic hair to each section and braid downward. Secure the ends of the braids with black rubber bands. Step 5: Cut the ends of each braid to create a blunt and frayed finish. Step 6: Finish the look off with TRESemmé Compressed Micro-Mist Hairspray Extend Hold Level 4 to keep flyaways at bay.
