How to Style a Flower Crown
Step 1: Prep your strands.
After washing and conditioning your hair, you’ll want to prep your strands to give your hair some texture and hold. We suggest combing Dove Style + Care Volume Amplifier Mousse through your roots to create volume and hold as a foundation for your flower crown. Then, let your hair air dry or blow dry if you’re short on time.
Step 2: Make them glisten.
Give your strands an extra dose of love and shine by spritzing Catwalk by TIGI Camera Ready Shine Spray throughout the bottom half of your style. This eye-catching glisten will take your locks to the next level for the big day.
Step 3: Style and set.
Whether you decide to add some loose curls to the bottoms of your hair or straighten all of your strands, you’ll want to set the look with a hairspray. We suggest using TRESemmé Compressed Micro Mist Hairspray Extend Hold Level 4 to lock your look in place.
Step 4: Add the crown.
Last but certainly not least, it’s time to add the flower crown. You can order real flower crowns from the florist who’s doing the bouquets and centerpieces for the wedding, or pick up a fake flower crown from your local craft store. Either way, you’ll want to place the crown carefully over your style and use bobby pins to pin it in place. Cross the bobby pins in an ‘X’ shape to lock them into place and hide them under your hair to make the look completely seamless.
