Valentine’s Day is on it’s way and I am thrilled about it because we have so many Diva-licious ideas for this fabulous holiday. I am super excited to share this one with you. 🙂 If you love fun little crafts but never seem to have time to put anything together, then this is the perfect one for you! We have done all the hard work, you just get to do the fun part and take all the credit {wink!}. If your house is feeling a little bare now that the Christmas tree and decorations are down, then you will be ready for this darling banner to jazz life up again. Erin from Strawberry Mommycakes designed this fantastic “I Love You” banner- isn’t she awesome!! Lucky for you we are sharing it with you for FREE- MWAH— we love you, too!
If you are ready to get your craft on, then it’s time to gather up your supplies. I will tell you how I put mine together, but you are free to personalize yours in a way that suits your home and personality the best (or that will be the most dazzling to your husband to let him know he is your #1 guy!!). First you are going to want to print out your free banner, grab your tape, scissors, glue dots if you have them, and choose some fun ribbon to match. (I found the cutest White and Red Dotted Ribbon I wish I had used after I made this). That’s it ladies, now you are ready to go!
Cut out all your circles and pull out the main ribbon you want to use.
Tape each circle onto the back so that they are evenly spaced apart. If you are a perfectionist you can bust out your ruler to make sure they are exact, or you can eye-ball it if you are more of a get-er-done gal like me. Okay- more of a get-er-done before some small hands get involved to get-er-un-done!! Love my little helpers!
Next step is to create a bunch of sweet little bows to stick between each of the letters. Aren’t they so cute?!?!
Now I just used a little glue dot to stick mine on which was super simple and worked great.
Voila! Your DIY banner masterpiece is complete. Hang it up and surprise your husband with this gorgeous love display!
